Price List - Policies
The following is a list of our basic healthcare services along with the fee we charge for each listed service.
To schedule an appointment, simply call 919-912-9522 or complete our online new client form located on our CONTACT page. We will have you sign a client registration form at the time of the visit. Whether you call or email, we will try to contact you by the end of the next business day to schedule a convenient date and time for your pet’s appointment.
Payment for services are due at the time of the appointment. We accept Cash, Checks, Visa and MasterCard. Local bank checks will be accepted if the check number is higher than 500 and the correct address is on the check. There will be a $25 charge for all returned checks.
Our policy is to charge for any appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice.
The house call fee varies based on both the distance from the intersection of Hwy 42 and Interstate 40 and on the payment method. House calls range from $55 to $65. There will be a $10 discount off your house call if paying by cash or check. If your home is further away than 20 miles driving distance from the intersection of 40/42 there will an additional mileage charge of $2 per mile, or we will try to recommend another house call veterinarian that may serve your location.
Exam prices are comparable to most veterinary clinics at $50-$70 and depend on the length and the nature of the visit.
Referral reports, phone or email consultations or conversations involving time not included in the regular exam will be pro-rated and charged according to the professional time involved.
Vaccinations range from $30 – $40 depending on the vaccination. Some vaccines are not recommended yearly for all pets; we tailor your pets’ vaccine needs based on risk factors, age, and lifestyle.
Heartworm tests and Fecal exams are $39
Heartworm Prevention and Flea/Tick Control are available for all sizes of both cats and dogs.
Prescription Medication(s) may be shipped or in certain situations, may be personally delivered. The shipping or home delivery fee ranges from $5-$25. Shipping fees are based on the item(s) weight and delivery fees are based on your address. Payment is expected at the time of delivery, or if the item is dropped off at your home, within one week of the order date. Prescription medication(s) shipped will have an invoice emailed or included in your package. Payment is expected within one week of delivery.
Discount surgeries are referred.
